MoveAbility is proud to be part of the Enable Makeathon Movement.

This unique project, organized by the ICRC and the Global Disability Innovation Hub, aims to expand innovative technologies and practices for people with disabilities.

An expert-jury will select 15 teams that propose an innovation responding to one of the 12 priority challenges related to disability issues. These challenges were identified through a research process conducted with the main disability stakeholders.

The 15 teams will be invited to a 15 days co-creation camp in India or in the UK. They will receive a complete coaching programme by experts of different sectors to further develop their ideas.

After this workshop, there will be some time to experiment the innovation in the field. The teams will test the concrete impact of their project on people with disabilities.

The judges will then award the three more sustainable and impactfull innovations with grants from $10,000 to $25,000.

This unique international innovation contest is the first step to a worldwide innovation movement for and by people with disabilities.
