There’s a saying that running is cheaper than therapy.

Because the moral state of people with disabilities is so important to the image they have and others have of them, MoveAbility has supported sporting initiatives and events for many years. Once again, MoveAbility, together with the disabled people’s organization and Da Nang Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Hospital, organized a running competition for disabled people from the centre of Viet Nam to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

60 competitors in 11 delegations representing 5 provinces participated in this day of competition, despite the very difficult weather conditions. Indeed, the runners were accompanied by heavy and incessant rains.

Although the rain made the race difficult, it did not affect the morale of the runners and participants, for whom the event was an opportunity to get together and have a good time!
